Chrysocolla (hydrated copper silicate) is a mineral, CuSiO3·nH2O. It is of secondary origin and forms in the oxidation zones of copper ore bodies. Associated minerals are quartz, limonite, azurite, malachite, cuprite, and other secondary copper minerals.
Chrysocolla is an attractive blue-green colour and is minor ore of copper, having a hardness of 2.5 to 3.5. It is also used as an ornamental stone. It is typically found as glassy botryoidal or rounded masses and crusts, or vein fillings. Because of its light color, it is sometimes confused with turquoise. Commonly it occurs only as pourous crusts unsuitable for gem use, but high quality, gem grade Chrysocolla can be translucent and is highly prized.

I mistakenly bought an incorrect symbolic pendant… What do I do now?

I went to a small world store that has a bunch of things from varies other countries. I purchaced two pendants. The one is a random pattern that I can not find anyplace online. I think it’s just to look nice?
The other, I thought was a form of the Dara celtic knot.I asked the lady at the register what it was and she said some celtic knot. So, I bought it.I was so stupid, didn’t take the recipe. (I’m very pro-eco) I get home and try to figure out was the swirly one is. I find the other pendant though! They are Tibetan yak bone pendants. The “celtic knot” is actually some buddha endless knot.
I’m catholic and what not. What should I do with it? I can’t throw it away because I have a high respect for other religions and peoples. It’s just because some poor man spent the time carving it that I can not get rid of it. What can I do with it?
It’s not that I want to get rid of it. It’s beautiful. I want to use it in a way that won’t disrespect anyone.

I would just put it aside for now until you understand what it actually means, and then you can decide if you still want it.

If you don’t want it, I’m sure there must be a Freecycle list in your area and you just advertise that you want to give it away, and someone will take it off your hands. Problem solved.
