Why is the Lapis Lazuli in Vampire Myth? and What about it is special?

I am writing a book which intails the myth of the Vampire and the Lapis Lazuli, I found the refrerece to the Lapis Lazuli in a book I recently read, I want to know more about the myth.

Lapis Lazuli with deep azure blue color, often flecked with golden pyrite inclusions, was treasured by the ancient Babylonians, Assyrians, and the Egyptians. Lapis was highly praised by Pharaohs in Egypt as a mystical stone. As well as being used to make sacred amulets and scarobs, Lapis is mentioned in the Egyptian Book of the Dead, the Egyptians instructions to the afterlife. In the 140th chapter of these instructions it is said that Lapis, carved in the shape of an eye and set in gold was an amulet of great power. Lapis Lazuli was believed to be a sacred stone, buried with the dead to protect and guide them in the afterlife.

Lapis lazuli aids in the development of psychic abilities and promotes spirituality. It stimulates enlightenment and enhances dreamwork. It eliminates negative emotions. Traditionally, it is believed to increase mental clarity, virility, and calm. It helps focus energy and benefits for teachers, lecturers and speakers. Additional properties of Lapis includes: it opens the third eye and balances the throat chakra, it recognizes psychic attack, blocks it and returns it to its source and reverses curses, it harmonizes the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual of your being, it reveals inner truth and encourages self-awareness, it releases repressed anger and stress, it brings enduring qualities of honesty and compassion, it brings objectivity and clarity and helps you confront truth wherever you find it, and aids in expressing your own opinions and harmonizes conflicts.

Lapis lazuli is a positive, healing stone and I have never heard it associated with vampires. Quite the contrary, I have heard that it is associated with angels. The only reason I can think that it would have an association with vampires is because of its’ historical association with the afterlife as described in the Egyptian Book of the Dead as mentioned above.

Sagittarian Lapis Lazuli: A Gemstone for Focus and Peace of Mind [1]

“Lapis Lazuli is one of the true gemstones of Sagittarius. It is composed of different minerals and therefore some gem experts consider it to not be a mineral, but a rock with Lazurite as its main ingredient. This opaque blue stone is not very hard—its Mohs’ hardness is only 5 to 6, making it easy to carve and cut. For that reason it has been used in jewelry since ancient times. In Egypt it was considered a sacred stone and was used in jewelry and sacred objects like scarabs. To me the most beautiful Lapis is dark blue with spots of golden pyrite, which makes it a very unique-looking specimen. Lapis should be set in gold.

The best and darkest quality Lapis Lazuli is found in Afghanistan. Deposits in Chile and Russia yield lighter blue stones with whitish or grayish veins.

Lapis brings us peace of mind. In a relaxed state of mind we develop a realistic and compassionate acceptance of things as they are. What is a man made substitute for expensive imported blue gemstone– lapis lazuli?

is it ankh,faience,hieroglyphs,papyrus,scarb,cartouche,kohl,or Thebes.
It was back in Egyptian time.

I suppose you could find glass that looks like lapis lazuli.

Your additional information puzzles me. The ankh is the symbol of life in Ancient Egypt, hieroglyphics are their writing, papyrus is a scroll made out of the papyrus reed, and Thebes was the Ancient capital, the modern-day cities of Karnak and Luxor.
