I’m planning to sell Designer collection Sterling Silver, 14K and 18K Gold Jewelleries in India. Do people buy these now as the Real Gold price has gone up very high in recent years. I know India is still the largest Gold consumers in the world.

yes there is a huge and unexplored market in India for such jewellery especially among young working women and students. i personally am pretty upset by the fact that one doesn’t get good quality sterling silver jewellery in india (especially with modern and unique designs). also indians love gifting jewellery to each other on all kinds of occasions and pretty and light gold and silver jewellery which is easy on the pocket will be most welcome. also a tip start by marketing first in the metros where there is a huge young consumer base and expand to smaller towns later.

If there is a number .925ss, it means that 925/1000% pure silver. It can also be stamped “sterling”.
